Headline photograph!! Had entered in an old Volvo PV, but it destroyed it's dynamo the day or so before. Honda Elise to the rescue, 140 miles pre plot. Fantastic car, had to be cautious over the crests and bumps of the Lancashire fells, as it has standard suspension, but did very well considering my son was a novice navigator and I last competed in a plot and bash road rally in the early 90's. Came 3rd in the novices, had a great night out amongst the more 'conventional' road rally cars (roll cages, spotlights, trick suspension, rally clocks and interior lights etc.), not put to shame at all.

Very cool! Would love a go but frankly too worried about hurting the car (and myself!) . Maybe one day I'll get something disposable and give it a try.

Picked this thread up by accident.
All credit to you for bringing out the Elise, must admit it was something of a surprise to see it at the start... more so at the finish. biggrin

Well done, bring it out again it's great to have some variety. smile
