Looking at buying a 2004 111s, car is standard and to be used as second car- anyone recomend a competitively priced insurer with good customer service for a 28 year old. Many thanks,

Using Manning as they were very competitive for me (28 years old, second car with 3 years NCD, modified S1 and under £300) after CCI stopped covering under 40's on Elises.

Since then 1 Answer have started covering Lotus's as well and are popular as well so worth a call.

Another vote for One Answer (4pot on PH).

Knows all about Lotus cars and the mods we normally do.

Did email them but got no reply, will try again on Monday. What would a reasonable price be? Hope to be round the 7-800 Mark a year

We're having a slight issue with our website at the moment. Best off calling on 0800 276 1338

Can't speak for Elises but I put my first Esprit V8 through A Plan back in 2005. They have consistently found me the best policy at the right price and over the last few years I have moved all my business to them. I now have 3 cars, my motorbike and as of last year my house and contents insurance through them - they found a much better policy at a third of the Direct Line price I was paying! They do all the leg work and customer service has always been excellent. I renewed my Esprit insurance last week - it was £103 cheaper than last year at £373 fully comp, unlimited mileage and Class 1 Business Use, as it happens with the same insurer. OK, I'm old, have a big chunk of NCB and live in a low risk post code, but I've no complaints.
