S1 HID Headlight wiring advice please?

Just had Dan Jude SPS Automotive (good man) fit Eliseparts twin HID S1 headlight conversion. Significant improvement in lighting.....but.....transition from dip to main beam means the dip goes off and main beam lights come on, slowly, as they 'warm' up. At speed this is 'disconcerting' to say the least. I have been advised that if I want to leave the dips on and just 'bring in' the main beam, I need to alter the wiring at the headlight switch end. When 'flashing' both dip and main beam come on, so should be possible. Can someone advise me on the safest / best / least risky way of doing this, please.

There are various threads on this on Seloc.

Basically you need to bridge the dipped and the full beam at the switch on the steering column.
