Exige S2 parts availability
Discussion
While I'm waiting for my 996 Turbo to sell I'm doing a lot of thinking and reading about what to replace it with. The idea this time is to get a more focused sports car but one that will work on the road (I might do a few track days but not many).
I've eliminated a few of the early contenders (E46 M3 CSL and E92 M3 among them). My short list is now an S2 Exige S or a Cayman S.
The Exige S is very tempting but I've been reading on here and SELOC about people having to wait weeks, months or even longer for parts. Is it a really serious problem with Lotus parts generally? I don't want to own a car that will sit in the garage for months on end because no one can get hold of the bits for it if/when it breaks.
