Elise S1 nose emblem exact position please

Just adding a badge, anybody care to measure how far the top of emblem disc to the bonnet aperture is.
Googled and had a look here but didnt see a topic http://wiki.seloc.org/a/Category:Lotus_Elise.

Isn't there a recess in the clamshell for it?

For what it's worth, on my Exige S1 (which I'd imagine was the same) it's 282 mm from the bottom of the bonnet aperture to the top of the badge

The measurement in this post:

corresponds exactly with the badge position on my S1.

Given the above, the distance between the arrows in your photo should be 290mm.
I've just into the garage to measure it.

Mine is to. Bog standard S1.
