This is going to sound ever so cheeky but does anyone live near Worcester / Brum and know how to adjust this very easily if an S1 Elise was to turn up over the weekend with the bottle of their choice in the boot...? :-)

I was in Oldbury today, but live on the south coast.

It is dead easy though. It's above the brake pedal accessed from front under bonnet area. Reach in, under screen and once located, twist 90 degrees move in or out and then twist back. It's a rectangular shape, so in one direction it's pinched in place and the other free to slide in and out.

As above, dead easy. Even I managed to do it. smile

Best bet is to park up near a wall so you can see the brake lights on it and get someone to sit in the drivers seat so you can check the adjustments without having to get in and out of the car.

Look at my entry in the 'Elise dead battery' thread.

Edit, scratch that, my link is for an S2 I think. The adjuster is slightly different.

Probably better looking here instead:

Thanks again Dave but I can't find it anywhere. One of the lads off the MLOC says he'll give me a hand with it tomorrow.

Found some pics and a description I put up elsewhere a while back, might help.

Had fun trying to locate this when I had problems with it (I was looking at S2 diagrams ), so figured I'd be nice and pop out and take a few pictures in case you're still struggling

1) Open bonnet

2) Looking in towards the top of the pedal box

3) Closer in, it's the bit with the purple and white leads running in to it.
