I'm looking at buying some gloss black TD 1.2s for my 111R, does anybody run a set on their car? I'd like to see some pics to help me with my choice if possible. I've only just got some fresh 225 AD08s for the rear standard wheels so I'm looking to keep them on my next new rims. What tyre combos are people running front to back?

Also any recommendations of a good supplier or I guess an alternative wheel?

Cheers, Simon.

Thanks all, what tyres are those on the rear? I've got some nearly new ad08s on the back I don't want to bin.

Ta.

Demon Tweeks in Wrexham have these on offer atm for Elise owners. I would give them a call and ask for Craig Wood

Are you able to say what you paid? Did you get the wheels or wheels + tyres?

For the set of alloys and two front AD08s just a bit over £600.

Most other places are advertising the wheels alone for £595!

I'll be interested to know how the much wider fronts affect the balance and steering feel.

I'll let you know when they're on, going to be a month until they turn up though as a fresh batch is being knocked up now.

Hopefully could give a bit more bite at the front. More confidence when turning in?

Almost certainly, the question is how much damage it does to steering feel and/or weight.
