I am trying to find an OEM T4e ECU plug (the one on the end of the engine wiring loom). These were fitted to 2006+ Elise, Exige and 2-Eleven. Does anyone have one in their spares part box that they could part with. I am actually after three of the connection pins so I can add some wiring to my original plug.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried AMP or Tyco brand connectors ?

No I've not tried either, mainly because I have not stripped down my existing plug since I was hope to source just the connections and add them. Do you think the Tyco ones are similar to the existing T4e ones?and also who would sell these?

These particular plugs appear to be "specials" so you need to look at them closely somehow with a magnifying glass. A 'brand name' and perhaps a 'brand' specific part number will be on it somewhere, then get in touch with the 'brand' manufacturer who may be willing to send you a free sample.

Thanks Frank.

Radium do sell an aftermarket T4e connector. However, the internals are different to the OEM connector and the new pins do not fit in the old housing. A new plug is certainly an option, but I will need to rewire every terminal in the connector, which is a tricky task with the loom in the car - compared to adding just an extra connector.

Appreciate the info though.

No worries. One of those tricky ones that looks a straightforward job - but then baloons into a real challenge!

There must be a source of pins out there somewhere - and I've not taken the plug apart yet to check for part numbers since it was -4 deg C in my garage last night! Roll on summer....

Pretty sure these are available separately for a few cent, problem is, as noted, finding the exact part number of the connector. Could be Bosch BMK or Molex?

Are there free slots on the connector? Else an extraction tool can save a lot of swearing wink :
