I need to route some cable (2 x 1.5mm dia) from the boot into the cabin through the bulkhead but I can’t find anywhere to bring it in. The obvious place was through the hole where the boot release cable comes in but there’s not a millimetre of space around it and it’s so stiff I can’t get any wiggle room down the side.
Has anyone had any experience with this and is there an easy access orifice I can use (no jokes please)? I don’t want to remove any bodywork (except side pods if nec’). All suggestions welcome, I feel like I’ve been training as a contortionist today bending around in there to try and find a route.

A common route is to enter the cabin where the handbrake cable enters ..
You'll need to remove the rear undertray to thread the cable through. .

Do you think I can get access to the hole without jacking the car up? I'm assuming i'll need to remove the centre console for this as well?

I'm no porker but you have to be the size of a rodent or have Inspector Gadget arms to reach anything underneath.

The diagram really helped so thanks. Thats quite a good website actually, some useful pics.

There's not much room to work around the car in my garage and it makes life a pain for access to things, not only that but they aren't the easiest things to work on anyway, space wise.

Cheers for the advice.

I park mine half in the garage and up on some paving flags just to give me that little bit more room to change the exhaust

Superb idea. I was just thinking to myself I could go even higher, then the penny dropped and I realised i'd end up driving the front splitter into the ground if I went to mad.

All this effort for reverse sensors, wish I hadn't of bothered.
