Elise S 220 (S3)- Impressions please

Don't quite no why but only became aware of the existance of this model while trawling through the net. Apparently available since June 2012. Don't recall any information regarding it's release being made available over here in France. Subsequently watched Thorburns comparison on You Tube, which I found enlightening. Since found a couple of other videos but surprisingly little else. Checked SELOC but didn't find much either. Anyone with experience of the car? Having sold my 111R my plan was to get back into a 2009/10 sc or a 2007/2008 Exige (220) I'd almost sold myself on the Exige, particularly after seeing some great footage on You Tube, notably a Top Gear Exige V Mustang video which had me drooling at the mouth. Never considered an S3 with the 1600 cc engine. Then, by chance came across the Elise S, (S3). Got me thinking. Its off budget at the moment but having seen a couple of classifieds for cars at around 33K with next to nothing mileage wise, I think come springtime it'll probably be in reach. Still find myself preferring the looks of the S2 in Exige or Elise models, but thats perhaps down to having seen more of them. An Exige looks the dogs boll.... but I still like removing the roof and would be concerned also about rear vision. Anyway, as said, thoughts appreciated
