Trying to locate my old Exige...

Hi Guys,

Anyone know where my old Exige is?

I sold it to a guy based down in Sussex in 2005. It's a Cobalt Blue S1 (2001) with a TT260 supercharger. Reg Y396 HPE.

Wouldn't mind making contact with the current owner and see if they're up for selling it back to me in the near future.

Do you know the chassis number ?

If yes I can see who has it. There is a list on Exiges.com of who owns what.

Strange but I don't see the point. Find another S1, in the condition you want and Bobs your Uncle. I'd be concerned about re purchasing what was obviously your pride and joy at a given moment, five years down the line.

I understand what your saying Simpo but I think it's likely to be a little different in this case.

I think there is a high chance an Exige S1 has been well looked after over the last few years and it would add a nice personal story if he was reunited. Plus if it was found & turned out to be below par, he always has the option of walking away.

I'm one half of duo that created the list over on exiges, I've got car/chassis details however no record of the owner sadly - If I do find out though I'll pass your info on.

Thanks for your advice everybody, i'll try and dig out a copy of the old V5 for the VIN number.

I'd love another S1 Exige but it'd have to be the same colour as my old one in Cobalt Blue, I'm not bothered about the supercharger.

I'm unable to find the VIN / V5 unfortunately.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for a Cobalt Blue S1, i'm in no rush to get one right away because I can't bring another specialist car in to NZ until January 2015 so the plan might be to get one by January 2014 and keep it in the UK in storage for a year (so I avoid paying duty tax once it arrives here).
