I can't get used to the Exige pulling crowds so frequently. Several times now I have come out of service stations to see 5 or 6 people standing round it. This is great for Lotus!
Sensational cars, still waiting for my test drive, local dealer has their car ready to roll, but got issues with Lotus apparently Doesn't stop me yearning though. My S2 is fully paid off in a couple of months, could be a dangerous time for me

Well, I had a passenger ride at Rockingham in a guys 997 GT3. That did seem very well composed and a step on from the 996. I would certainly only ever buy a manual gearbox car though and Porsche have now dropped this on the GT3.
997 gt3 is the car I've just sold and I think if I bought another 911 it'd only be another gt3. I had issues with mine after buying it from an official Porsche dealer which was annoying but the car was good in the end.
I'd but private next time as the Porsche centers don't seem to maintain these cars as well as the Indi's.
The 997 gt3 can be an everyday car but with rawness which is what I like about that model.
Presently I'm loving the exige and I'm already looking at pictures of the v6!
Was just interested in your views between the two. Cheers

My friend tracked his V6 Exige last week at Magny Cours (Le Mans) Had a smile like a cheshire cat. Describes it as awesome. Only downside was top end speed. So he's considering an upgrade to 410BHP to solve the issue. Says it all to me.
Interesting as top end is easily over 150 (lotus quote 170mph), I think with any car you hanker after more power as soon as you get used to it. I never really wanted for more power in my gt3 and the exige is no slower....although on a big circuit the gt3 would have needed 500bhp to still feel quick!I am used to the performance of the V6 but when I take someone else for a ride they normally swear!
