Pops and Bangs ......../Roof question?
Discussion
Hi guys
Was after some advice , I purchased a quicksilver exhaust the other day and was planning to get fitted soon but before I started I wanted to call on peoples experience ...... Will you only get that aggressive pop and bang sound from removing the cat. I was hoping to avoid a decat route due to possible drone/ mot issues etc. I have a n/a Exige s2 and my friends exige sounds insane with a decat but really loud! Lol
Also I removed the hardtop over the weekend which transformed it to another level on the old fun factor! I did discover however that one of the brackets on the drivers side at the back had the thread crossed on the nut part of the bracket meaning it will not know tighten up so therefore require a replacement where is the best place to source these parts?
Thanks for your input guys as ever,
ps Exige ownership now 48hrs in and loving it
Cheers Paza

Are you sure it's cross threaded? The bolt on the Elise roof has a threaded section, then a smooth part then another threaded section. Just checking!http://www.deroure.com or your local Lotus dealer.
it'll pop with a decent cat back system, here is a 1.6 club racer with just a larini, sounds like warfare on the over run
