The rear fog lights stopped working so I strapped a wire to them via a switch from the tail lights as a quick fix for the MOT (2 years ago).

Now a "blown" dip beam lamp turns out to be OK along with the fuse and wiring which means a new switch module pack is required, I have one on order.

Anyway to the point, how dificult is it to change? From the sound of it it's behind the clock.

I would guess it's the relays themselves, not man enough for the job. It's the same relays that they usued in the CDL unit, that failed aswell. (Now replaced)

I'm still waiting for the replacement to arrive from Christopher Niel, they were ordered Wednesday afternoon and I was told they had them on the shelf. When it does I may unsolder a few of the relays to find out. Edited to say it's a '55 plate 111S.

Just to put the record straight, my module was sent out on the day it was ordered form Christopher Neil.

Our friendly postman didn't bother to put a failure to deliver note through the door he simply took it back to the depot, where no doubt it would have sat on the shelf forever had I not spent an hour on the phone trying persuade someone to get off there arse and have a look. wkers.

I had a look today and 2 of the relays are fooked. Strangly the control circuit, (coil open circuit). and not the contact. Same in the CDL unit which was changed at the same time.
