Fan manual override switch.
Discussion
I have an S1 Elise and I want to put in a manual override switch for the fan so it cuts in on my command!
Have seen other forums but think you guys will know the best way to get this done.
Just a cable ran from the relay (86 - blue / grey cable) to the switch and then down to the chassis
However using a Peugeot switch the light does not come on.
Any ideas?
Many thanks.

if you just grounding the relay trigger wire, that's fine for the fan relay, but where's the power for the light going to come from?
you either have to use another contact in the switch to do this or run another wire back from the relay output to the switch (this would also work to tell you the fan is on when the ECU asks for it)
