Just umming and ahhing about the service that's now due on my 111s.
It's only done just about 18k on a 2004 plate... B&C tell me it's due a B service which is fine... It's also due an MOT around the same time, so I was wondering should I have it done by B&C or should I use an independant... I mean will it matter when / if I come to resell ?
What exactly gets done on a B level service anyway? Is it just oil and filters?

I'd look on a specialist history more favourably than a main dealer one - in my experience people who use specialists have more tendency to look after their car in other ways than those who just blindly take it to the main dealer.
Personally, though, I've given up completely and service mine myself.

I get my servicing done at the dealer, I get my MOTs done somewhere else. The two jobs need not be connected in any way.
