Dilemma when comes to selling
Discussion
I just don't know what to do.
The body work is a bit tatty at the front which will be getting a respray and minor repairs after scuff.
The rear clam has a bubble and paint cracked and the odd flake off here n there.
Do I spend 2k on a full respray to hopefully get around the 10k mark
Or
Put it up,for about 8.5k and be the cheapest on the market and get it sold.
Or would the condition but you off?
It's had a fortune spent on it recently so it's not exactly been scrimped on...
Help!
S2 51 plate if that helps.
This is not an advert, just don't know which way to turn.

I'd rather buy a tatty one cheap than buy one with new paint that could be hiding serious repairs.
I bought my S1 with lots of stone chips. I got it cheap, with the assumption that I could drive around in it for a few years and respray it just before I sold it.
However, as I was happy buying it tatty, and as none of the stone chips will ever go rusty, I suspect there is a market out there for honest cars that are mechanically good but without perfect paint.
Plus it'd be perfect as a track day car.

id go for cheap there's plenty of people who would enjoy repainting it, and more people with £8500 than £10k.
Theres a few VX220 with bubbles for £5k now, some people are not that anal and just want the car, plus there's track dayers etc.
