SWMBO has charged me with changing out the brake rotors and pads on her Exige 2S with all the bells and whistles. Not for the first time, I might add...! So.... Does anyone out in Forumland have any comments either way between Carbon Lorraine pads and Pagid RS14's?
We're running the 14's on the front at the moment with Pagid RS4-2 Blues on the back and they seem to work quite well, but the PRICE!!! OUCH!
The CL's seem to have a flatter torque curve than the 14's, but can we always believe the manufacturer's claims are done in the "Real World"?
She does quite a few track days and uses it on the road (as they ALL should be!)so we need pads able to do both.
Anyone from the various racing fraternities got any comments?

I've tried both and now use CL-6's.

Very good pad.

Always ended up with pad transfer on the RS14's.

You've got that the wrong way round. You should be running RS4-2s on tthe front and RS14s on the back.

To be fair, CL RC5+ have issues but I have never seen a problem with RC6s. Still I'll always stick to Pagid just to be safe.

Had the "issues" with my CL6s last summer, so swapped back to RS14s over the winter.

For a road/track car that doesn't get a thorough check out every time its used - I'll avoid the CLs from now on. Would not have the same reservations if its a racecar.
