What oil viscosity would best suit....

Car lives in Scotland

Car sits for two weeks in garage unused.

The odd short trip jaunts, duel carriageway bolts , screaming back roads and the odd track day.......

Opieoilman is your man and a member on here.... there's bound to be someone who asked the question in this long running thread... but if you are too lazy to look through... pop him the question or ring him up

I think, oil like tyres is a bit like the emperors new clothes.... The 111r is a 1.8 Toyota Celica engine... so oil shouldn't be rocket science... checked the manual ?

I use Castrol Magnatec in my 111s all perfectly fine...

8.

5/40 it is then.... I know what the manufacturer recommends for the toyota power plant but as i listed various mode of use of my vehicle in my thread thats the reason i was looking for info on the best viscosity... I will use mobil 1 as i have done with all my other motors but it was the best viscosity i was more interested in.

Thanks for your replies gents!!
