I'm in the market for a nice S2 (Rover) been to see a couple of very ropey ones but there doesnt seem to be a lot on the market at the moment. Tried the usual suspects PH/Autotrader/Seloc/ebay but no joy. Only real requirements are it needs to be a short roof and not a crap colour (Silver/Red/Blue/Yellow would be ideal)

I was rather hoping at this time of year the tax discs would be going on and cars rolling out of garages for sale!

Maybe so. No doubt the market will be flooded 2 days after I've bought something that wasnt just what I was after!

Im going to be selling mine,
but I will wait for a bit of sunshine. It doesnt do any wet weather driving. I really cant be arsed to wash it every time I take someone out in it.

I'm exactly the same - Currently on the hunt for a Lotus Exige S (2007) model with a budget of approximately 23 - 24k but there is nothing out there at the moment!! If anyone is thinking of selling please email me or post.

Certianly is - I've even booked next week off work as I was hoping this would give me time to take a look at a few exiges and make the correct decision with time to do it!! I hope theres a classifieds rush by the weekend!! Get selling people!!

Yep, that is why I am hoping a few early 2007 models come on the market. A few weeks ago there were 3 or 4 exiges for sale that met my criteria - Now i am in a position to buy there is nothing at present. I am sure they will pop up in the next few days / weeks!

I bought my 05 Exige 10 months ago and I've done 10k miles in it. It's my absolute pride and joy and will find any excuse to drive it. It goes out in the wet, but not the snow. It's all tucked up at the moment but the roads are pretty dry tonight so time for a good thrashing again. It's been hard cleaning in such cold weather but when I do the ardent red comes up beautifully.


I can't help but still look at the market to see prices. I got such a bargain at £17.8. Nothing comes close!
