Lights !

Ok, headlights seem easy to do... I'm writing this with the job half done i.e. the old lamps removed.

Is the main beam lamp really have to be this difficult ? Anyone successfully done it themselves (got pictures / instructions ?)

You'd have thought that the millions of pounds Lotus invested in the design department would have made a simple job like bulb replacement an easy diy thing to do... apparently not !

Last time I did it I had to remove the metal cradle completely to get to all the lamps.

Should take about 15 mins per side

Not that hard three bolts in the wheel arch unscrew them and the house comes off, replace bulb and then put back together.

It's very fiddly, but I found it was helpful to get the little retaining wire clip right out of the way first (I found I could almost double them back) then get the bulb in, then retaining clip back, then finally reconnect the power.

And don't forget to test them before you put the cover back on...!
