Where to mount the bluetooth unit

Hi All,

I recently purchased the Bluetooth module for my Alpine iDA-X311RR.
It's basically a black plastic box and I've got it all plugged in and mounted on the underside underneath the stereo on the passenger glove sill...

Just wondered if anyone had put it anywhere else, would it work / fit behind the stero... before I start taking the dash apart again... where is that stubby screwdriver again !

I've attached mine with Velcro to the underside of the centre of the dash, that way it won't get knocked off if I have a passenger.

Mine is mounted behind the stereo (granted in a VX220, but should be very similar), with the mic mounted on the top of the cowel. Don't have any particularly good pics of the mic placement, this is the best;
