Evening all. My Elise is on a T plate and has just hit 70k, I'm going to get round to giving the interior a little love when the weather improves. It's not in a mess by any means, just wondered if anyone had any tips on things they've done to theirs?

There a little plastic washer that sits around the gearstick where it goes into the plastic trim on the floor and stops dust and stuff getting in to the mechanism. I replaced it with a sliver of carbon fibre I had laying around, and while I was at it I peeled off the black coating from the gearstick (mine was chipped and had holes in it).

The end result was a nice shiny gearstick that reflects in a circle of nice shiny carbon. It took about half an hour, incluting cutting the carbon to shape.

Plus it's lighter than standard (not that it matters because the most important thing is that it's all shiny).
