Haven't posted on PH for a while but often dip in to see what's been going on, I recently purchased a 2010 Elise SC from Silverlink cars of Newcastle good guys very professional. This Elise is the best all round sports car I've ever owned it doe's everything and I mean everything so very well, now while it's not as powerful or as quick as the new Exige S it really is all the sports car you'll ever need I've driven it on Motorways, A roads, B road's and then it still has enough left over to thrill you on the track, it's superb I even used it in the Snow without any drama's I've just had a stage 1 exhaust fitted along with TRD induction to give it a little more noise why did I ever sell my last One. The 2 11 was out of this world quick but this just does everything so well I'll post pictures soon

Yes is the short answer, engine seems to be able breathe better and definitely rev's easier Castle Lotus assured me I'd get gains of around 2-5 bhp so it's probably now at 222 - 225bhp

sounds good Boggy, and after a while when you think or itching to a bit more power you can always upgrade those cars to 260<>280 or so.

Sounds good! I've driven a lot of different Elises and the SC is definitely one of the best there is. Fantastic cars smile

Can you? I was under the impression there isn't a great deal you can do with the Elise SC owing to the type of supercharger fitted?

with the original supercharger your indeed a bit limited, but even with that, you can get around 240<>250hp out of it with some upgrades, see for example here>>

To provide the Elise SC with more power and torque we have developed the powerphase Elise SC240. Its basis is the Elise SC 220hp. This is complemented by our Komo-Tec stainless steel exhaust manifold a sports cat, a Carbon airbox and a modified ECU mapping.

A notable increase of power to approx. 240-250hp is the result of These modifications. Torque lies with approx. 220Nm around 15Nm above standard.
See a power diagram for the Elise SC240 attached.

Consists of

modified software on standard ECU
KT-stainless steel exhaust manifold 4:1
KT- sports catalyser
KT-Carbon airbox system for SC240 system
