111s Buying Advice - Does anyone know this car?

Hi all,

I've been lurking on here for a while and I've decided to take the plunge and look for an S2 111s.

I've seen a few other posts talking about 111s buying advice, but anything anyone can add for a Lotus newbie would be greatly appreciated!

I've spotted this one on the PH classifieds, does anyone know it? What does everyone think?

Try this thread for a start.

The car in your first link looks like it has had a respray or the previous owner didn't like the stickers! (the 111S stickers above the indicators, and the 'Queen's Award' on the left buttress are missing.)

Thanks, that's one of the topics I've seen and has some pretty good advice.

Good call on the first one, I hadn't noticed the stickers etc were missing and from the quality of the paint/photos it might suggest a respray.
