Best place to learn about Exiges
Discussion
Hi guys
I'm staring to think an Exige would be a great next step for me as an occasional track toy. Could you please let me know the best place to read and learn about them, and what the good dealers are. Also which forums tend to see the ost traffic on exiges?
I'm after a mint example but a few years sold, and definitely an S2.
Thanks!

As above: Seloc is almost certainly the busiest Elise/Exige forum around.
Difficult to give any advice without knowing what sort of cars you have experience of driving on track and road.
As a general (and possibly patronising - for which I apologise) guide:
Don't get too hung up on higher power versions. If you're not used to lightweight mid/rear engined cars then it'll take a while to get the best out of an Elise/Exige on track.
Brake and suspension improvements will make a bigger difference to track times than bigger hp.
Buy a standard car, get to know and understand it and then you'll know why you want improvements and what you should be changing.
When you've bought the car then join Lotus on Track - cracking track day organisers - loads of days - loads of venues and superb standards of behaviour on and off track.
Enjoy!
