I've just hit a low wall reversing my Exige, dam the lack of vision out the mirrors (and my poor poor judgement)

It's not as bad as I thought when I jumped out, but still pretty ugly!

Can some one advise me how I should go about getting this fixed and an estimated cost? Do I have to go to a Lotus specialist or will a body shop be able to do it just the same?

It's just the top layer that came off, but there is a small crack in the wheel arch as well:

Thanks - £200-£300 is what I crossed my fingers for. Could have been worse!

By a stroke of luck, there was a chips away van 110 feet from my house so he came and took a look.

He said fibre glass is more tricky than the plastic, you have to be careful not to overheat but he said he can do it for sub £200

The only concern is ardent red out of a can won't be 100% the same as ardent red on a 7 year old car.

My car doesn't look to have faded THAT much, so we'll keep our fingers crossed the match is OK.

I figure it makes sense to get the repair and small patch resprayed, if there is a noticeable colour difference then go down the larger area respray

I'm liking the precision in the distance between your house and the van smile

These guys did some work for me on my 350z a couple of years ago or so, they did a great job. There was an Elise in there at the same time for some minor work on the rear clam, couldn't fault that either.
