Elise/Exige experience day recommendations?
Discussion
A couple of years ago I went to Hethnel for their driving experience thing in an Elise, but it was rained off, and I never managed to reschedule it. Now they don't do it (not that I can see at any rate).
Now I'm saving up for get myself a little sporty car next year, and quite tempted by a Lotus, but would like to try one first. Lots of places do driving sessions in a Lotus, but wondered if there was any in particular that were well recommended, and ideally somewhere around East Anglia.

A quick Google throws up Exige experience days for about £100 or so. I think I'd be more inclined to go to a local dealer and book a test drive.
Alternatively hop over to SELOC and have a look around the regional forums for local meets. I set about buying one after I'd had a spirited passenger ride!

One of the guys on Scottish Elises (Andy Gordon) runs Experience Limits in which they have an S1 Race car and S2 111R on their books.
May be worth a try as well. The website is: http://www.experiencelimits.com/
However any Lotus dealer worth their salt will take you out in the Elise to give you an idea of the feel of the car so that may be your best port of call.
