standard early 118 bhp elise but with uprated springs and dampers
185/55/15 with 205/50/16 rear (current set-up)
or
195/50/15 with 205/50/16 rear
or
185/55/15 with 225/45/16 rear
or
195/50/15 with 225/45/16 rear
I believe most go for 195 and 225 as per 111S but what are the pro's and conns?
only road use so was thinking about Toyo T1R unless anyone can reccomend better.

I use T1R and for commuting they are fine. I hate them on track but then I have another car for that. What I like about them is that the transition between wet grip and dry grip is quite gentle, unlike the Pirrelis I had which lost all thier grip at the slightest hint of rain. No issues with aquaplaning from the wider 195 fronts compared to the 185s I used to have, but then I haven't worn them down much yet.
I went for 195/50/15 with 225/45/16 rear and I've got 160bhp (it was on 185 and 205 when I got it). I wouldn't increase the front tyre width without increasing the rear as catching a rear end slide is plenty tricky enough, without making it harder by masking any initial understeer with more front grip.
