Ok,I want to chip my S2 Elise 'K' series engine,I allready have an ITG Maxogen air induction fitted but want to go a stage further with a chip.

Has anyone else on here done this,as I'm interested in what sort of difference it will make to the performance and running of the engine etc?I appreciate there won't be a substantial power difference, but I hear a chip can run the engine better, true or false?

Thanks all in advance.

You already have a chip running the engine, all EFI engines do. If you get it "chipped" you'll just have a different chip running it or, more likely, a second chip lying to the existing chip about the output from various sensors.

Complete waste of time with a normally aspirated engine, in my experience.

You'll go much faster spending money on driver training such as a Walshy day (carlimits.com)
