Was that knowingly underpriced?

I've heard that the market for sellers is getting tougher (euro has weaked), probably more so with S1s. So that's probably affecting sale prices and perhaps trickling through to listed prices. Hard to tell from the photo about the level of stone chippery, and no mention of suspension refresh in the details smile. Still does seem a bit cheap - perhaps the seller wanted to ensure a quick sale and the buyer got a bargain!

I'm guessing that's the case.
As soon as I saw it, I thought "that won't be there long" and it wasn't.

I get the impression from Elise owners that an S1 with it's original shock absorbers isn't a good thing?
Like it's the first thing you'd want to spend money on?

I wasn't so much thinking of the shock absorbers, more ball joints 'n' bushes getting a bit tired - but it'll be down to the particular car (although obviously it's a plus if it has been done!). Certainly the original koni shocks aren't well thought of though - I think switching to S2 bilsteins is pretty common smile.

Thanks.
It's good to know what to look out for.

Shock absorbers matter more, unless there is obvious free play elsewhere.
