Deposit paid!!

Well after 2 years of thinking, saving, deciding against, thinking about Caterhams and generally buggering about, my deposit went down on a 111R today. A process that started with me deciding to "sod it, you only live once" yesterday and then taking the plunge today.

So in a weeks time I shall have a 54 plate 111R in storm to accompany my BMW 330 coupe.

I suspect this will be the start of assorted tuning, pampering and general over spending into my new dream car! I'm sure the questions will be asked thick and fast once I'm behind the wheel.

Congrats. That engine was born to go in an Elise. A magic combination.

In terms of pure driving pleasure it really doesn't get much better. I was meant to sell mine years ago and just haven't been able to bring myself to do it!
