Does anyone know where I can get hold of a headlight switch for a 1998 S1? I have to get an MOT soon and my switch wont latch on

Ive tried the normal elise shops and my local breakers yards but no joy

I did speak to Elise parts and they said they didn't have any stock and the suppliers could not get any more (but they were looking into an alternative)

Looking at that link they seem to have fog light and hazard light switches in stock, maybe I could get one of them and just change the face plate

Try a Peugeot breakers - the same switches were in my old 306.

They are indeed standard Peugeot switches. If that fails, try Douglas Valley breakers - they have Elises piled up and can pull some out for you.

I bought the fog light switch from elise parts and just changed the facia...all is good and MOT is done

Is it just me or does everyone else with an older elise pace around like an expectant father when it comes to MOT time?
