Hi - I picked up my Exige yesterday and very pleased with it! The only thing is it has an iPod cable yet I'm HTC through and through. I've never had an iPod and no plan too.

Can the cable be removed, and replaced by something that has a 3.5mm jack on the end, which I could plug straight into my headphone jack of my phone? Is it a hard job to access the back of the head unit?

The Exige is an 05 with an Alpine stereo in it. No CD player - it also has AUX as a source - how the hell do I play something through that, I can't see a port for it!

Thanks smile

You'd hope something like this female iPod dock to 3.5mm jack connector may work, but given the Alpine headunit controls the iPod/iPhone via the headunit rather than having to fidde with the device itself, there is of course the chance it won't work at all if you use such an adapter to connect a non-Apple product.
Can't comment on the Aux input, sounds like it's round the back. 2min job to remove and find out.

Oh, and congrats on successfully tracking down an Exige, I remember your other thread.

Problem solved - it has a bluetooth mode which pairs with my phone - totally awesome! Thanks for the reply though
