Chaps,

Could somebody with a Series 2 long tail Elise, please tell / show me, how the seal that goes from the front of the doors, all the way up and over the roll bar fits?

I've just finished re-painting mine, got a lovely new seal and suffered acute idiot failure when trying to work out how it fits!
I've done all the sensible things, like checking the workshop and parts manuals, searched here and on Seloc and even looked through the photos on the classifieds!

There's a photo of my car here which may help a little.

I'll try to get a better shot tomorrow (work & weather allowing).

Thanks Neil, that helps a lot, the bit that has me stumped, is where the part of the seal that goes across the roll bar / rear window, goes smile

Not sure what you mean exactly. The rubber seal doesn't go over the rear window bodywork.

The seal feeds down the B-pillar, starting at the join between the rear between the bodywork of the rear window cover and door frame.

I've taken a few extra photos, email me and I'll send them over.

If you need anything else, just ask.

Well, I'm stumped! You can't see where the seal goes with the bodywork in place.

Can anyone else help Andrew who has removed the bodywork around the roll bar to tell him where the seal should go?

Hi,
Not sure if you have sorted this yet but I just picked up a long tail s2 elise and I don't think I am far from you. Let me know if you want a look and we'll see what we can do.
