Elise S1 speed sensor help needed

I have recently bought a race/track prepared Elise - I believe it's a 2000 111S type 49
The speedo doesn't work and I would like to get it working.
I have identified the problem from the threads on this forum.

Problem - no speed sensor. That was the easy bit.

1. Sensor - I am assuming it is the "wheel speed sensor" on the eliseparts website - can anyone confirm after seeing the images below?

2. Cable
I have found a wire that looks like it goes into a plug (long black section) in the engine bay - see image - that could be the feed??

3. Mounting
The mounting location behind the disc is shown in the other image (shiny bit with hole in). Is there a mounting bracket of some sort required?

I have tried google images, google and forum but cant find a picture or parts diagram so hope someone can help

Yes you need a little bracket to get it into position.

Have you looked on www.deroure.com

and it's not that plug, that's the radio ariel extender

the speedo sensor plug comes out of the loom about where the inertia switch wiring does.

Will go and search for wiring.
