Who has one on there car?
And is there a noticeable difference on sound?
On my old Exige I had an ITG Maxogen and that sounded the nuts. But v expensive.
Thoughts please.

It is cheap, it's alright for noise but there are better options (but they come at a price)

Have been thinking about getting one for my 1.8 s to match the stage 1 exhaust, where can you get them for £77 thought they were a lot more than that.

TRD air box is a nice cheap air box upgrade sound is definitely improved, even better if fitting to a supercharged car.
It's a little fiddly to fit but can be done in under an hour if you know how wink

I had one fitted to my Exige, the stage 3 exhaust drowned out the supercharger whine but after fitting the TRD it had a much more throaty sound and the supercharger whine seemed louder.

Ok. Am thinking I may get one if there is a big difference in noise. It's the noise more than anything that I am after.

definitly louder when on cam, just sounds angry. Not too much change off cam, just back from trip to devon from stoke all motorway, and could still hear myself think when getting out, after cruising most of the way at 4000-4500 rpm.

Go on get one, you know you want to.........

Interesting, is there any noticeable increase/decrease in performance, or is it purely noise? I'd be fitting it to my 'yota 1zz Elise S.

I don't think there is any increase in power, it just sounds like there is.driving

Yes TRD good job. I replaced a piper cross with this and no more issues with MIL light and sounds 90% as good for a fraction of the cost.

Hi all.

Not got one yet as the car decided to empty my mod funds firstly with a gearbox rebuild and just this week with the original radiator deciding it's going to let go. Brilliant.

I still want the TRD but it has to wait for another month.
