And I am making moves to sell my Elise after almost 9 years. I am taking the personal plate off tomorrow in readiness. I have moved house and now don't have the dry storage space and do so few miles that I cannot really justify keeping it.

So, best way to sell it?

It is a 2000 grey S1 with 22,000 miles in pretty much original condition (bit of extra chrome here and there but no other mods), rarely used in the wet and always stored Oct-April. Serviced every 12 months and I have all the MOTs and service receipts. It is not taxed.

What is the best route? Autotrader, PH classifieds, (gulps) Ebay?

How much should I expect it to fetch? I have some extras (Lotus dry cover, full unused wet cover and a cap). Best sell them separately or include them?

I'd go with PH to begin with. People who will appreciate a car with that mileage are more likely to be on there/here. AT next. Check out the prices of the closest eqivalent models for a guide.

PH, SELOC and EBAY...

Huge audience, priced right it'll sell nice and quickly.

PH is best for selling IMO (if you don't want a tyre kicking autotrader chav) I'd ask 11500 with a view to taking 10k, all subject to con'd, ownership count, SH, tyres, etc, etc

Best of luck

Ok, so the number is off. Sat in DVLA wondering why I was there but the head ruled the heart.

I am having the valence repainted as the guy did an excelent job on my other car today and I think having a (temporary) chip free front end may help.
