My rev gauge isn't working correctly on my S1. It has a mind of its own and bounces up and down. Sometimes it just doesn't move. It only started after having some engine work done. Were is the sensor that picks up the revs?
The revs are calculated using the crank angle sensor. However, this is fed to the ECU, which then drives the tachometer.... if the car is still running well then it's likely to be a problem with the ECU driving the tacho, or a connection issue between the two.
