Was wondering if anyone has any experience of having their car serviced here. Its one of the nearer options from my Lincolnshire area. Thanks.

Do you need a main dealer? Whereabouts in Lincolnshire are you? My wife's S1 has been serviced by a small local garage for the last 9 years. They also look after cars for a number of other Lotus owners and are based 10 miles south of Lincoln. Going further south, Pat Thomas at Kelevdon Motors near Spalding is highly respected as a Lotus specialist.

Im based in Cleethorpes so Lincoln is not too far. I guess we all like a Lotus stamp in the book but a garage who will do a good job is important. Details of garage would be appreciated thanks.

I always go to jct and have bought two cars from them. Fantastic dealership. The best I have experienced....and I've been through a few cars. With all the Lotus cars and Bentleys on display it is an experience simply going there. Also, if you ask, they will drop you off in Leeds to shop while they do your car, then pick you back up again later. They will even drive through and collect your car, service it, then bring it back, if you ask them.

I know it's a little bit of a dated thread, but I'd be interested to know how much you paid. As they quoted me £900 for a 54k + MOT on my 111R - over twice the price of Christopher Neil.

They've recently re-done the pricings I think. Have a look on the website for pretty transparent menu pricing.

Make sure they fit genuine parts. Not always the case with them for eg brake pads

Interesting but why the extra on Exige 240 PP?

No idea. I wasn't aware of any different servicing requirements on 240PP cars.

I seem to recall someone saying the PP cars had plugs every time, but don't quote me on that.
