Right folks, I've had my S1 for nearly a year now and I need to get it MOT'd.

The thing is, when I bought it I had it de-cat'd and while i have the old cat it had 3 seized bolts stuck in it.

Firstly, does anyone have any tips on loosening them?

Secondly, how likely do you think it is that I'll be able to find at MOT station that'll accidentally test the emissions of another car if i'm able to refit my cat?

Thought it was worth asking...

Hi the easiest solution is just to pop them out with a hammer and replace the studs with nuts and bolts. Not fair to ask a garage to break the law. Fitting a cat takes about 40 mins and the same for replacing the straight through pipe. done all this myself.

Nah, easiest solution is to find a friendly MOT garage.
