Back Box Query

I have a query on a back box i have which was removed from a delivery mileage car.
I was told it came from an MG but have since been advised it could be a 'K' Series Elise.
Markings on the box state 07-03 and CPC 1980.
Can anybody shine any light on this an confirm one way or the other. Any info greatly appreciated.

A chap I knew who used to work at unipart said the S2 Elise K-series and MGF exhausts were the same part. As I don't have an S2 Elise my interest stopped there and I didn't check up on it.

It won't fit an S1 Elise.

I've made a few other enquiries, namely with Lotus dealers and they informed me it would have been removed from a new car and replaced with a Sports stainless system and a free flow air filter.

So if anybody needs an as new back box for an Elise Series 2 then it's in the classifieds.
