Hi chaps,
just wanted to say hello as I am already lurking around for some time here (regular member of SELOC too) but finally decided to register.

I'm living in Munich so it's just some 200mls to the Stelvio and absolute driving nirvana in the Alps...so if you happen to come around and want to know some nice routes in Austria and Italy, pop me a mail. wink

I've got a modestly tuned S1 111S (Nitrons, manifold, exhaust cam and so on) and my dad has a 205bhp S2 with Rover engine I am fortunate enough to drive from time to time, too. biggrin

Don't know what more to say...perhaps you know me from SELOC (same username). I'm the director of the biggest german language Elise forum (www.elisecommunity.de) too so if you want to improve your German just register. :P

Cheers
Korbi

Hallo Korbi,

Mein Name ist Colin Ich spreche wenig Deutsch Ich mag so wäre, der Ihr Forum beizutreten.

I tired to register but I got a '500 - internal Server' error message, am I doing something wrong? Despite working for Audi and Volkswagen for 7 years and visiting Germany around 5/6 times every year my German is still quite poor and so it's not beyond reason that I may have been clicking the wrong boxes, any help would be welcome.

I'm doing a tour of Italy in June with the Cannonball Ireland group and we'll be hitting the Stelvio again, great driving road and you're lucky to live so close. The closest thing to me is something called that 'Cat and Fiddle' which is a demanding driving road about 5 minutes drive from my house but it's not exactly as breathtaking at the Stelvio smile

Thanks Korbi.
