Elise and Euro IV

I am looking into importing a S2 Elise into New Zealand and one of the requirements is that it meets Euro IV standards. I've done a bit of searching and it seems a bit contradictory. It seems the 2ZZ doesn't meet Euro IV, nor does the K-Series, but some Elises might?

2zz meets EU4, its EU5 that it was never certified against.

current 1.6 is EU5
