Will Elise S1 seats fit standard motorsport brackets?

Hi,

someone told me that S1 Elise seats are made by a motorsport seat manufacturer and therfore will fit universal motorsport seat mounts like these: www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/seat-mounting-fr... These ones fit OMP, Sparco, Cobra and Corbeau Seats.

Does anyone know if it is true? I've got a pair of seats and was assuming I'd have to make my own brackets to fit them in my (non Lotus) hillclimb car but buying some would be a lot easier.

no they won't fit.

std seats are mounted from below, not the side as per MS ones.
