This vent is stuck back with tape currently.

I can't see any snapped tabs or a way to clip in a new one, nor can I find them for sale?

Any advice please?

Thank you.

I've recently bought new ones for my car from Stratton Motor Company, including all fixings. You shouldn't have any trouble getting a replacement.

I would carefully glue that in place myself. It wont harm anything.

Might you have a link or a number for me to follow please? Thanks.

I would consider that, but it would probably involve gluing the black part to the silver clam...is that what you're thinking? Not convinced the slim black bars will give enough surface area to grip onto the clam. What glue would you use? the 2 in 1 resin Araldite comes to mind?

I agree. You need to see how much contact you have got between the clam and the plastic. Any superglue type adhesive will do. It is a very forgiving place so I would give it a try. I wouldn't recommend it otherwise.

edit: this may be for later cars

Part numbers:

G117B0118F
B075U6054V
A117W5268F
C117B0235F

(I think.)

Looks like a screw (B075U6054V) goes through the clam into the grill (G117B0118F).

Nick, I'm sure any Lotus dealer could help you but Robert the parts manager at Stratton has always been most knowledgable and helpful, and he sorted me out with the bits for mine. (parts@strattonmotorcompany.com or 01508 530491).
Platinum's part numbers look pretty close - later fittings are now supplied even for earlier cars.
I haven't actually fitted mine yet so can offer no further advice...
