In Search of a Europa

Hi Guys, I'm looking for some advice on a Europa. How much or little am I going to get for my 18K ish budget. Is there anything to be avoided or anything to try hold out for. I'd like to use it on track days as well as regular commute so I realise that some improvements would probably have to be made with a standard car but at what cost? The budget could be increased for the right car. There seems so few around that I don't think I can be too choosey. Your thoughts on the attached would be appreciated

FatWomble has a Europa and does a fair few track days, went out as a passenger with him at Castle Combe and he was absolutely flying round.

Few other people with various upgrades to them on SELOC as well.

Fatwomble's car would be a better bet if you are planning track days as it already has some of the bits on it that you would want to get the most out of it. Feel free to give me a buzz after the xmas break... I can help a little with all things Europa - 01491 848800

Good call, 60+ on there now.

Sorry Paul that I have hung on to mine for the moment (well not sorry, but you know what I mean). I am really hoping I find a job in January or February, but if not I will give you a shout to see if you have found one or not.

That looks nice although i havent heard too many positive things about that dealership, dealership being a loosely used term.

I tried to arrange a visit with them once and it was if they were doing me a favour, needless to say i never went.

I looked on PH after reading this and I was suprised at how few were for sale. Disregarding the several repeats Pure Lotus have of course. I like the interior of the one you have posted.
I have never bought a car from them but I was pleased with the service I got when they changed the cambelt on my car 2 years back.

Quite understandable wanting to hang onto yours. I'd do the same. Good luck on the job front and I hope the interview comes good. I've arranged to go see the Europa later this week, seems to be a sellers market with so few available but I'm sure of one thing and that is I want to join the Europa owners fold.
