Proud to say I managed to fit my Tesco 'Christmas' shop in the Elise today. Such a practical sports car!

Yes you can take a partner or child, get them to sit in the passenger seat and pack it round them, works a treat!

Never take the golf clubs or shoes out of mine, still room for shopping. No ice cream though, bit toasty in there!

Oh sorry I didn't write that very well.

I have a normal regular drum kit (5 piece acoustic, with cymbals and hardware), and I fit half of that in my Elise.

Most practice studios supply bass drum and toms, so my "half kit" which is what I would take around with me to such places was the others bits - hardware, seat, cymbals, snare.

HI Tony, you still playing then?

A Griff is much bigger, I got the 22" kick on the passenger seat, a 13" piccolo snare in the footwell, a 14" floor tom, 12" tom and the hardware and cymbals in the boot, then headed off to Aberystwyth from Shropshire to do the gig, a great drive up there but the gig was ste, I got paid though.

I haven’t tried to get a kit in my Elise yet, I doubt I'd get much in, they are much smaller.

Camping gear x 2 people including 2 tents, 2 folding chairs, inflatable beds, the lot. And Nick's beauty products and face creams.

Tony, you back in an Elise or speaking from past experiences?

Had my 5 year old next to me. Wife was at work. 7 bags in the boot and 2 in the passenger footwell. Easy!

Would I fit my 24x14 Vistalite in the Elise, I wonder.

Half-drum kit makes sense, sorry. I call my "one up, one down" kit "the wedding kit".

Cars and drums. Rock!

Past experience unfortunately - no doubt I'll have another though, still rate it as the best road car I've ever had.

My last band (The Deccas) broke up in the summer (all very nice, but just got to that time I guess!) and looking at putting something together in new year with someone else. Still playing in an empty practice studio, but no gigs for 6months or so now :s

Good work on the griff though!smile
