Valuation Opinion
Discussion
Probably a bit unimaginative, I know,. but I'm thinking about getting another Elise S1 (this would be my third) for pootling about at weekends.
Would anyone care to express their opinion on the true value of this car, in the current market?

well, it's on the same kind of money others are asking, but I would suggest they are all a bit optimistic by ~£500-1000.
that one looks odd in that if you were trying to sell a car you would ether replace the missing headlight cover or loose the other one (it's not like they were std anyway), appreciate this is a small point, but it's more a pointer to me of the attitude to the rest of the car.
Personally, if I was in the market for an S1, I would be after the older ones (in good nick)

Not really anything in the ad to make it desirable, is there?
If it was super cheap, or had something spec wise, could understand opting for higher miles, but just seems like a crap advert!
If it's all completely standard and hasn't been recently overhauled suspension wise, try a cheeky bid of £6500? I wouldn't pay more than £7k personally unless it had been meticulously maintained - and it doesn't really look like it, as mentioned above. Odd to leave the single headlight cover on.
There's just no information though - could be a potential money pit, or he could have changed most things at that sort of mileage.
