I know hard tops on an Elise are frowned upon by the purists but I love mine, so lets see yours.

I don't think you got the whole link. On Photobucket hover over the thumbnail and a dropdown should appear. Copy the IMG Code in the bottome option, past here and change IMG with PIC

The S1 hardtop does make the car look good, but it is a hefty blighter.

Another S1 lid - makes it into a nice little coupé, improves the looks massively IMHO



Got one on the current VXT as well, and if(when) I get an S2 I'd have one for that as well - luv 'em

Put it back on today. Roll on springtime to take it off again! In times gone by I'd have taken the time to go for a blast with the roof off, even during the winter months but now I can no longer be bothered. My second car, and everyday transport remains a convertible with electric hood operation which while not being in the same league as the Lotus, remains highly practical in the circumstances.

Its Safron Yellow. Probably wouldn't have been my first choice as it is a bit in your face but its growing on me.

After 8 years with a silver car, its nice to have something with a bit of colour.
